That is right folks, you know it is bad when the former main apparatchik of Soviet Union Propaganda Pravda, is calling the United States RED, MARXIST, AND COMMUNIST!

You heard me right. If you do not believe me….go read it yourself. It is a very good op-ed because it is another example of someone outside looking in with total astonishment and disbelief . In my opinion, the author hit the proverbial nail on the head. It offers people like me validation on the one hand and embarrassment in the other.

Micheal Savage is the No. 3 Radio Talk Show host in America. He has just been banned from entering the country of Britain, why, BECAUSE HE IS AN EXTREMIST!!! He might incite violence because he is rife with hate speech. Every time, I get home from work and as of recently, dread looking at or watching the news. Our freedoms in this country and around the western world are eroding. Western civilization and its principles are dying. Britain, the same country of Mill, Locke, Burke, and Churchill is becoming more like Orwell’s 1984. You cannot hardly break wind in Britain without some “victim” there ready to take offense.

“I think it’s important that people understand the sorts of values and sorts of standards that we have here, the fact that it’s a privilege to come and the sort of things that mean you won’t be welcome in this country,” Ms Smith told GMTV.

That is Jaqui Smith of Britian’s Home Office, stating if you do not kowtow with the NuLabour party’s Values or Standards you are NOT welcome in England. Geert Wilders found that one out when he made Fitna. Labour party is the exact same as the Democratic Party in the United States. It is very interesting, that also recently, Homeland Security had compiled an Extremism Dictionary. Really.

The dictionary points out almost the entire American Populace, except office holding politicians or bureaucrats, wonder why they left them out? However, I believe what Britain has done is a juxtaposition to this “dictionary”. The Statist agenda is to Silence the opposition. If you disagree with them you are a threat to national security. What bothers me a great deal is the constant complacency in America. Obama smiles and magically everything is just peachy.

Remember, the malevolence of these people will destroy us. If you do not believe me, just wait and see. The president we have today will send you to the Gulag Archipelago with a smile and a hug. Don’t you just feel so warm and fuzzy inside now? We are going bankrupt and our military is shrinking in size and capability. Every dictator in the world is full of glee because of the far left slant our country is heading. They love it. The left in this country is the enemy within.  Liberty and Freedom is very much at stake in Western Civilization. Tolerance and political correctness has made us Dhimmis to the Islamic Theocrats and Tyrants like Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan. It has made us weak in the face of China and Russia. It makes erroneous and lamentable lies spread by communist/ socialist regimes like in Central and South America. But, this is what the far left has wanted since the 1960’s.

God help them, because Washington will never help.

symbolic…..

At yet another stump speech this week, it seems this president spends more time trying to convince everyone that his policies work than he does actually governing, he made a remark about the tea party protesters. President Obama mocked the protests by saying that just by holding tea bags the protesters didn’t know what the problems actually were with this country. Apparently the president didn’t actually know what the tea parties were all about. But this is not about the tea parties, this is about the symbolism that they represented and other symbolic gestures that this president does not have a grasp of since he’s taken office. Starting with the tea parties, since this country’s independence began with a tea party protesting against taxation without representation, it was symbolic of the tea party protesters of April 15 of the peoples’ discourse with the current administrations direction. Perhaps the president marginalized or belittled the protests because he felt emboldened by the recent defection of Sen. Arlin Specter giving his socialistic agenda a more clear path for the next year and a half. The thing about symbolism is that it may not mean much to Obama, but in other countries it means a whole lot more. At the madrases in the middle east a U.S. flag and Israeli flag are in front of the doors like welcome mats. Anyone entering these schools wipe their feet on them, which symbolizes their hatred and overall disrespect for our two nations. In other words, the act of wiping their feet means a great deal to them, symbolically. Since symbolism is big in the middle east and other parts of the world, when a United States president bows to a Saudi king it speaks of a lot more than “showing respect” to the leader of that nation. Despite what the drive by media will have you believe, Obama’s bow to that king will be seen as our compliance, servitude, and loyalty to their power. Bowing is something that this country decided to give up doing as part of the revolutionary war or maybe Obama missed that day in history class. Then take the rubbing elbows with dictators that was important for this president. Glad handing and hugging with Hugo Chavez and gladly and politely accepting a gift of how America is destroying and oppressing Latin and south American countries. This will be huge in Hugo’s next campaign, I’m sure Obama is glad to help the dictator any way he can. The point is, the symbolism of our president chumming it up with dictators and bowing to a king strengthens only those leaders and makes our leader and our country look weak and ready to cave-in to whatever demands are made upon this nation. This is not the image or symbolism that we need to portray in this world. We are supposed to be leaders of the free world, not followers of a president that cannot recognize the meaning of being a leader or free.

hindsight…….

It is becoming increasingly apparent that president Obama and his followers believe they possess the magical power of hindsight. The ability to look back at any situation and find any flaws, mistakes, etc. This is a very slippery slope given the fact that you can go back in any administration’s history and find things that could have and maybe should have been done differently. That’s the thing about history, you should really be able to learn a lot from it. In this case, looking into possible prosecutions of those involved in the enhanced interrogation issue would be a tremendous waste of time and tax payer dollars to discover that countless lives were spared because of the information gathered during the interrogations. Seeking to punish one for acts that saved human life is more wrong than any acts committed. So lets all hope that the magical power of hindsight won’t have to be used on this administration in the event that a “man-made” catastrophe happened and we find out exactly what this president wouldn’t do to save American lives. This would be a far greater and more painful lesson to learn from history.

other than that……

President Obama’s first 100 days have been very busy. What with spending money this country doesn’t have on things this country doesn’t need, while creating such a massive debt that children who aren’t even born yet will be paying for it. Calling those who oppose his policies in this country “domestic terrorists”,  I know that Secretary Napalitano did it but he’s the boss,while not wanting to insult the people who actually want to kill us by calling them terrorists. Apologize to the world for the United States arrogance and behavior over the years for our actions and in the treatment of our allies, despite the fact that all of Europe would look and sound a whole lot different if it wasn’t for the U.S. Divulge enhanced interrogation tactics so our enemies will be better at handling being captured. Basically, we’ll just beg them to tell us whatever they feel comfortable telling us. And take a thriving democracy for nearly 300 years and attempt to “change” it into an unrecognizable country that our forefathers never intended for us to be. Other than that, he hasn’t done much.

The problem is, it’s just the first 100 days and now with Sen. Spector switching sides there is no opposition to stop or even slow down the next 100 days and beyond. This country is at the mercy of a president and congress that believe such things as those that provide jobs are evil, that dissenting voices are a threat and that government should oversee everything, even though Obama can’t even keep track of Air Force One. Until the mid-term elections, it’s going to be like a bad dream and if there isn’t a change of power in both houses then, it will be a very long and costly nightmare.  This country’s future is at stake and there’s no place else to go, so we have to speak out to preserve our freedoms and liberties or sit back and watch them be taken away.

Arlen who???

This is something that conservatives should be celebrating, not lamenting.  Arlen Specter has always been a statist/leftist to begin with. It is no surprise to myself or anyone who reads this blog that he would switch sides to the democrats, because in fact, his record shows that he was a liberal with a select few conservative leanings. So, no big surprise there. What bothers me is his vapid excuse for “deciding” to switch.

“Since my election in 1980, as part of the Reagan Big Tent, the Republican Party has moved far to the right. Last year, more than 200,000 Republicans in Pennsylvania changed their registration to become Democrats. I now find my political philosophy more in line with Democrats than Republicans,” said Specter.

So in that same breath, Specter admits that he is an opportunist and a poll follower. Specter, however, does not want to lose his job, which, is REALLY the main reason for the switch. Pat Toomey, who is a TRUE conservative was going to run against him in 2010. Specter knew he was going to lose after voting for the dreaded stimulus (PORKULUS) bill. He could never retain his seat as a Republican.

This event should seal the deal, if you will, for conservatives on the matter of term limits. Senators like Byrd, Kennedy, Specter, Stevens ( even though Stevens was wrongfully shamed and smeared, he was still in there too long.), and others who make a living off of the taxpayer. They want to cap salaries for others, yet, consistently give themselves one. They consistently give themselves more liberty while restraining and/or eliminating ours.

It is about POWER and keeping it. Senators and Congressmen that have been there that long, like Specter, could not live like the rest of us. They grown accustomed to the privileges the office provided, the money and security, and lastly their inflated egos could not take the pressure. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. All the pundits are saying he will still get elected again as a democrat, if not increased his influence. I say this to all the pundits and talking heads; just like GM/Chrysler, the banks and others who made the Faustian bargain with Barack Obama and the rest of the statists in Congress, there will be a time to pay up. When that time DOES come, you will not like the results of your choice when all is said and done. The people of this country will speak their minds in 2010. Specter should not feel comfortable. It is not a done deal, however, not in the sense that he thinks it is finished.

So, in closing, see you later, Arlen. We did not need you as much as you thought. We will be fine. Even though you took away Filibuster power in the Senate, remember the Faustian bargain you took. Look at those whom you associate with and do you think that you are going to vote the way YOU want to. I do not think so. YOU WILL OWE THEM! They will never owe you anything. You want to play tyrant go right ahead and play, it will come back to haunt you. God Speed, Arlen! Senator, you will regret this move.

Double Standards

Something that is getting old really quick is the treatment of Miss California by the Gay Community. I seriously wonder how they can continue to be taken seriously on their issues when they slander anyone who holds the opposite viewpoint. Usually, I would not have given Perez Hilton a moment of time but he seems to have acquired a rapture of validation in the homosexual ranks. By now, we all know what had happened and to whom at the pageant. It is a whole other argument to have as to why Hilton was there little lone an unbiased judge in a pageant show. That is not the current issue. It was what transpired following the event. Hilton slamming her on his website and on various talk shows just because she OPENLY stated that marriage was between a man and a woman. She did so eloquently without being harsh in her personal tenets. Did Hilton return the same courtesy? NO!  He viciously attacked her.

You would think that it would calm down and just disappear and be categorized under Talentless Hack loses cool and gets proverbial panties in a wad! However, it just spiraled down into more mindless drones coming out of the wood work and putting in their two cents. The crowned queen, who defeated Hilton’s nemesis, Miss North Carolina stated after-the-fact that she absolutely supported gay marriage. Well, isn’t that just superb…Automaton! Easy to jump on the band wagon isn’t it Miss North Carolina. California took the hits and still walks tall, yet, I wonder what would happen if YOU were attacked with such impunity. But I digress…

The latest in this cat fight comes from a supposed Conservative Libertarian British MP. That is right, regardless of view of homosexuality, some homosexuals are CONSERVATIVES, even to the amazement of their alternative lifestyle counterparts.  Anyway, this Tory member of Parliament stated in an interview that if Miss California ended up dead…He Did It!  *Silence* *Crickets Chirping*

Yeah, not that funny is it?

So, even joking about killing another with an opposite  opinion is just a disgrace, especially in context of the matter. Homosexuals have fought to move about without threats and intimidation and now, one of their own ( yes the MP is openly gay) is threatening the life of another , whether kidding or not. What if a conservative US Senator or Representative said that about Perez Hilton? He would have had to resign effective the next day cause of the outcry of the gay lobby and community and possibly even charged with a hate crime. Yet, the “Lame stream” Media stays silent about such things (probably because most of them agree with Hilton and the MP).

We are going to see more of this in the next few years. It is really sad that in a country that values free speech and a good debate, we are now relegated to this stuff. My personal view is that if gays want to get married, that is fine with me. However, it should remain in the eyes of the state as only a civil union. If gays can find a church that accepts such practices and is willing to marry, then albeit the more power to you. I believe the state has no business in the marriage arena…period. Whether a hetero or homosexual marriage , the nomenclature of MARRIAGE should remain in the religious sector, not the state. That is my only gripe with the homosexual lobby. Why try to redefine marriage when all you need to do is get the government out of it completely. Gays and Lesbians, get familiar with the Fair Tax and learn it well. Consumption taxes and elimination of the estate tax will secure you and your partner. When you invoke the Government, it never ends in your favor no matter how it looks.

Finally, if you want to be taken more seriously, stop being hostile to those who disagree. I thought homosexuals were the poster models for TOLERANCE. The problem with Tolerance is that , in reality, it is not just a one-way street. You may have to ACCEPT or at least TOLERATE the fact that someone might disagree with you not just on product but on principle.  You do not insult them , you just move on.  Then you find a way of winning in the market of ideas by NOT having any person(s) or institutions coerced by Government.

I Thought the Flu Season Was Over?

how’d this happen…..

When this last election ended and Barrack Obama was declared the new president of the United States, to say the least, I was skeptical. I knew of two Barrack Obamas, the one on the campaign trail that was supposed to be a unifier of both parties and of this great country. And the one with the most liberal voting record and an autobiography with insight to his frame of mind that was totally frightening of anyone running for any public office, let alone for the President of the United States. However, since most people were blinded by hatred of W, they either chose to ignore or just plain didn’t want to know anything of the latter Barrack Obama. So here we are, nearly 100 days into his presidency and this country couldn’t be in less capable hands and on a path heading straight for a cliff. On a daily basis this administration has wiped their feet on the Constitution, and the “change” that was spoken of hasn’t been any “change” that this country has needed. The “hope” that was spoken of  feels more like hoplessness.

Whether it was the administrations overwhelming need to change the vocabulary starting day one, the spending, the borrowing, the huge debt being incurred, the massive growth of government and it’s new powers to control private industry, the world apology tour or the release of classified information about our enhanced interrogation techniques and among some other things that will also be discussed later, it has all made this natural born American citizen wonder how this happened? At this point though, it’s less important to wonder how it happened and more important to ask what can be done to stop this insanity? Starting with sharing factual information and debating the ideas is a good place to start and somewhat theraputic for me personally. In the upcoming days and weeks all the aforementioned issues will be talked about and maybe we all can figure out how to right the ship and get America back on a path of prosperity and liberty for all, stay tuned……..
